The Upstart Liftoff Marketing Plan outlines the basic ingredients to building an internet presence. When we build a new website, our desire is to reach a large audience and share our information or to sell specific products. A website is only a part of the whole. To have the most influence, you need to include different types of pages (i.e. landing pages, sales pages, ordering pages, content pages, blog pages, review pages), all of which have different purposes.

Beyond different types of pages, a developing an internet presence that has reach includes social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and many other “Web 2.0” websites, article directories, link-building strategies, appropriate and inviting email marketing, and many other video, audio, and multi-media resources.
